Airfreight
Cargo Screening in the USA
As you are reading this, the August
1st deadline has passed and I am wondering if the prediction
of massive congestion at airline cargo terminals is now a regular
feature throughout the United States.
With the costly preparation of becoming a CCSF (Certified Cargo
Screening Facility) including a major investment in equipment
(yes, we have an ion trace detector to swab crates without having
to open and do a physical search of their contents), I will
be somewhat on the frustrated side if the TSA eases regulations.
