ICEFAT
CELEBRATING 30 YEARS
MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR
|
|
Building relationships for the future is of great benefit to both
our clients and colleagues. From all reports 2006 is shaping up to
be a fantastic year for ICEFAT member companies.
There are many events planned for the 2006 ICEFAT agenda, which will
allow our members the opportunity to renew existing bonds and to establish
new personal contacts and connections.
For the third year in a row, ICEFAT will be representing our organization
and it’s members at the American Association of Museums annual
convention.
This year the convention is located is Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
Be sure to stop by and say “Hello”. In conjunction with
the AAM activities, ICEFAT is proud to host the INTERNATIONAL AND
AMERICAN REGISTRARS RECEPTION. This will be a great place to meet
new, and renew old, acquaintances.
Be sure to mark this event on your schedule if you are planning on
attending the AAM convention this year.
ANNIVERSARY
In addition to the AAM excitement, preparations are well underway
for ICEFAT’s 30th Anniversary Convention. This year the convention
will be held in Istanbul Turkey and hosted by Gerrit Lichtenberg and
the team at Bergen Fine Art Logistics.
The celebrations will begin on October 12 and proceed right through
the weekend.
There is an optional post conference tour planned that will allow
you the opportunity to further explore the many wonders of this fascinating
country.
And finally be sure to mark your calendars for the week of November
13, 2006 as the 5th European Registrars Conference will be held in
Madrid, Spain.
I am looking forward to seeing both new and familiar faces this year
