The ICEFAT Green Committee was started in Florence Italy in 2008. It consists of member companies from throughout the world and its primary goal is to research and promote environmentally sustainable business practices for the ICEFAT companies. As you may be aware ICEFAT is represented throughout the world with 79 companies in 34 countries. We are a group that is not only dedicated to the highest standards in Fine Art Shipping but also to environmental sustainability. Through the efforts of this committee we hope to make a difference in our industry.

Since 2008, the committee has received overwhelming support from the membership of ICEFAT as well as the entire museum community. This support has given the committee the energy to pursue research in many areas. The linked pages show some of the areas that we are working on currently. The committee meets via teleconference once a month and always welcomes new information.
